Support across different ages

KC Care supports children, young people and adults. The service is designed around the person rather than a fixed age-based programme.

Centre-based support

The Rawmarsh base provides structured activities and five dedicated spaces so people can choose an environment that suits how they are feeling and what they want to do.

Community-based support

Support can include shopping, appointments, cinema visits, parks and nature, local attractions, community events and other outings.

Communication support

KC Care supports people who are non-verbal or have additional communication needs and adapts to preferred communication methods, behaviours, cues and communication aids.

Care and independence

Personal care can form part of an agreed care plan. Activities and support also aim to build confidence, decision-making, life skills and independence.
